National Training and Development Manager -Samsung Mobile

As the Samsung Mobile National Training and Development Manager you’ll lead a team in the design, development, coordination and execution of high impact training and development strategies.



  • Strong project management skills

  • Develop and leads the research, planning, organization and conducting of all division training programs, education, and workshops.  
  • Hire, onboard, develop, coach, and manage a team of trainers. 
  • Equip the training team to leverage appropriate training methodologies including, but not limited to: one-on-one, classroom, and e-learning / multimedia training.
  • Directs team in strategy for education of team on safety, installation, programming, maintenance, and repair of software, machinery, and equipment, following outline, handouts and texts.   
  • Ensure progress of training through collaboration with trainers and understanding performance reports
  • Strategize with leadership to continuously improve / customize existing programs and courses.  
  • Ensure SCORM and AICC compliance at all times.



  • At least four years’ experience in adult education, training/development or academic teaching required. 
  • Minimum two years in design and development of written training materials, manuals, guide books, job aids, etc 
  • Minimum four years in educational delivery
  • Minimum four years supervisory experience
  • Web training or distance learning background required
  • Previous experience in management of Training team required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Computer Science, Instructional Design or related field or equivalent experience. Master’s Degree preferred.
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher) proficiency required.
  • Experience with Kirkpatrick Training Evaluation Model approach.
  • Knowledge of Lectora, Adobe Fireworks/Photoshop, Dreamweaver, Captivate, Articulate, Storyline, Flash media and media converters, audio editors and converters, video editing software, DVD authoring software, Learning Management System design, implementation, and administration required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 80% to regional offices, client and/or vendor sites and retail establishments.
