Area Account Manager – Samsung Experience Stores

Premium is looking for someone with retail operational experience, familiarity with product management, capable of working within a highly matrixed organization. This role will work with one of the world’s largest consumer electronics manufacturers to deliver effective solutions to ongoing business challenges.

 

POSITION DESCRIPTION: 

  • Responsible for Collaborative Planning, Forecasting and Replenishment (CPFR) in tandem with supply chain & financial analysts, attends weekly CPFR conference calls
  • Analyze sku level productivity as well as space optimization in planogram
  • Lead with product management teams to determine product assortment  
  • Present all new products to operator in tandem with product management
  • Maintain weekly promotional calendar
  • Prime on working with product management team to develop promotions and administration of applicable Letters of Authorization (LOA), ensuring they are completed in a timely manner
  • Work with financial analyst to ensure accurate reconciliation of payments to operator
  • Work with Merchandising team to ensure new product rollouts are planogrammed
  • Ensure smooth transition of “End Of Life” products plus work with Merchandising team to ensure proper changes to planogram
  • Managing Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) for buyer’s remorse program on monthly basis
  • Operational readiness of operator for planogram changes & promotional communication
  • Ability to work in a stressful environment and adapt to rapidly changing conditions
  • Work with training to ensure plans in play to support new products

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Exceptional skills in creative problem solving, study and reporting design, time management, self-confidence, data mining, analysis, accountability, practicality, client relations, communication, and presentation
  • Proven expert at linking data collected with overall channel strategy delivering sound recommendations
  • Must have strong point of view on the proper application of data-driven analysis to business scenarios, and be able to select appropriate methodologies
  • Experience in retail operations, retail distribution, shopper insights, merchandising, sales, shopper marketing and service organizations preferred
  • Excellent communication skills required
  • Proven knowledge of the ‘ebb and flow’ of retail statistics and enhancing brand performance through analysis
  • Experience with database software (SQL, Access) required
  • Experience with statistical analysis software (SAS, SPSS, R, etc.) and Business Insights software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) highly desired
  • Utilize strong communication skills and high adaptability in a fast paced, high growth environment
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Project
  • Ability to organize work flow to manage multiple projects and accomplish tasks with follow-through to completion
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with various types of management levels within SEA and external organizations
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with an emphasis in Business, Statistics, or Accounting desired. Master’s Degree highly desirable
  • Required international travel, with valid Canadian passport
